The WxBox PWS is a very small, power efficient device that connects to a Davis Vantage Pro, Oregon Scientific WMR918/968, La Crosse WS-2300/2305/2310/2315, or Vaisala WXT-510 weather station. It collects and archives the weather data from the station, creates a weather website with the data, and can upload the weather data to CWOP, Wunderground, WeatherForYou, and Awekas. Because of its ultra low power consumption, it is fanless, silent, and generates very little heat. The WxBox PWS is small enough that it can be mounted on the back of LCD monitors having the VESA mounting holes, and includes mounting hardware. The WxBox PWS's mounting holes can also be used to mount it to a wall or under a desk.

The WxBox PWS comes ready to plug in and run. The standard configuration includes a 5 volt power adapter and 2GB Compact Flash for the included software and for weather data storage. The standard model has USB ports for connecting to your weather station. An RS-232 options is available. A port for wired connection to a network is standard. Built in wireless connectivity is an option.

Although you can connect the WxBox PWS to a keyboard and monitor to interact with the internal Linux operating system, this is not required, as it is designed to be run without anything other than a connection to a weather station and a network.

The WxBox PWS is ideal for 24x7 operation where power consumption can add up over time.
