SoftWx, Inc. began in 1991 as Tempus Software, developing and marketing tools for software developers and providing software consulting. In 2006 we incorporated as SoftWx, Inc. to better reflect our growing list of products to support personal weather station owners. In meteorological circles, the abbreviation WX stands for "weather". Although our hardware offerings are particularly useful to personal weather station owners, we think they will appeal to computer users in general who are looking for systems that consume very little energy. We also offer computer components that are useful to people building their own systems.

 

We believe in the products we sell. We aren't interested in filling our site with products just for the sake of having more things to sell. We have tried out all the products we sell, and use most of them ourselves. None of our products are drop shipped. They are all shipped from our stock, and many of them are assembled by us, here in the United States. All software products were created, developed, and are supported by SoftWx unless specifically noted otherwise.
